Bio
Nate Jasensky is a guitarist, composer, producer, arranger, and music educator living in the Seattle area, and a recent transplant from Brooklyn, NY in 2024, where he lived and worked in music full time for over 12 years.
Nate first started his music education at the age of three in his home town of Tucson, Arizona, when he was enrolled in classes with musicians in the local symphony orchestra. Learning how to read music before english, Nate quickly became proficient with several instruments. He was soon after fronting his own bands, recording his music an old tape deck with a small mixer, and has been a full time musician ever since.
While performing and teaching in Tucson, Nate earned degrees in music composition and classical guitar performance from the prestigious Bolton Guitar Studies program at the University of Arizona, performing in lessons and masterclasses for top guitarists like Sergio & Odair Assad, David Russell, Roland Dyens. After graduating, Nate has toured nationally and internationally as a lead guitarist, played to crowds of over 300,000 fans, and recorded music for award winning films.
After relocating to Brooklyn, NYC Nate founded the Greenpoint Recording Collective, a recording studio that served the needs of the music community in the New York City area. Nate has worked with an extensive list of artists as a producer, mixing and mastering engineer, arranger, and performer, and has released a catalog of music under his pseudonym Faster Than Light.
Nate currently makes his home in the city of Sammamish, WA where he is active in the musical community. Teaching lessons out of his home studio, Nate works with students of all levels and ages, in person or remote. His lesson studio has been an ongoing concern for over 20 years.
Additionally, Nate runs a production studio and is available for production and composition work for artists, labels, post houses, and businesses.
